About Me
I am a warm, approachable and experienced BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor and Grief, Bereavement, Trauma & Perinatal Therapist, supporting adults and couples.
I offer therapy online, in person, and walk-and-talk therapy locally (please ask for more details). I also hold the appropriate certification to provide online counselling in accordance with current professional standards.
Throughout my career, I have developed extensive experience supporting people through grief, bereavement, loss and trauma. Life can bring incredibly painful and unexpected challenges, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain and emotionally exhausted. I offer a safe, confidential and uninterrupted space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My calm, gentle and compassionate approach helps people feel at ease quickly, allowing us to build a trusting therapeutic relationship.
I have worked across a variety of settings, including hospitals, hospices, bereavement and trauma charities, private practice and counselling agencies. I have also managed teams supporting people affected by serious illness and bereavement, giving me a broad understanding of the emotional impact these experiences can have on individuals and families.
My specialist work includes supporting those affected by the death of a baby or child, pregnancy and baby loss, pregnancy after loss, birth trauma, antenatal anxiety, fertility difficulties, anticipatory grief and life-limiting illness. I also support people who have experienced traumatic events, suicide bereavement, survivor guilt and other significant losses.
Alongside my specialist work, I support people through many of life's other challenges. You may be feeling at a crossroads, experiencing fear, uncertainty or dread, struggling with relationships, work-related stress, anxiety or low mood, or simply finding life difficult to navigate. Whatever brings you to therapy, I will work alongside you with compassion and without judgement, helping you make sense of what you are experiencing and find a way forward.
